ALGOCYTE SERVICES COOKIE POLICY
OXFORD IMMUNE ALGORITHMICS LTD
This policy describes the cookies used in our Algocyte platform, accessible via our site https://uk.algocyte.com and/or our Algocyte mobile app, and your choices regarding their installation onto your device. Please read this carefully before using our Services.
OIA’s Algocyte platform uses cookies. This Cookie Policy explains:
· what cookies are and why they are used
· what types of cookies are used by the Algocyte platform
· what cookies are used by the Algocyte platform
· what your choices are regarding the cookies
· and how to manage your cookie settings
Cookies are small text files used to store small pieces of information, which are saved onto your device when an online site is loaded onto your browser or mobile app. They do this by allowing the online site to recognise you during subsequent visits, and subsequently streamline certain aspects of your visit.
Generally speaking, cookies can help to make online sites function properly, provide a better user experience, improve security and provide feedback on performance.
As an online service, the Algocyte platform uses cookies to help improve your experience of the Algocyte platform. It uses both persistent cookies i.e. cookies which are saved onto your device for a specific period of time duration, and permanent cookies i.e. cookies which are permanently saved onto your device. Persistent cookies expire after they have reached their preset duration.
Cookies can be classified as first or third party cookies. The significant difference between these is that first party cookies will be saved directly from the online service you are trying to access; third party cookies however, can be saved from other online services, even if you are not trying to access them.
Algocyte uses first party cookies loaded directly from OIA’s domain, uk.algocyte.com, for consent management and performance monitoring. Such cookies are intended to report usage statistics for the Algocyte platform, i.e. how the Algocyte platform is performing e.g. how quickly it is reacting to your requests; and how you are interacting with the Algocyte platform e.g. which features you use.
The Algocyte platform does not use third party cookies. None of the cookies used collect any of your personally identifiable data, and they cannot track your browsing behaviour or history on other websites.
